STATUS: Complete

Update: June 1st – The wraps are complete and finished with color preserver now the only two tasks remaining are adding the inscription and then dipping all sections of the rod in the thinned spar.  This rod will get 3 coats of varnish before buffing and waxing.

Update: July 1st – The rod is complete and delivered.  It was field tested using WFF3 and DTF4 lines and I preferred the WFF3 as it suited my style of casting better.  The action is crisp and what I would call medium fast with action when a playing a fish right down into the butt section.  The rod was given to a friend who retired last year and is intended for chasing mountain cutthroat trout in Alberta and British Columbia.
